Hi, I’m Megan Stephens.

I call myself a storyteller.

I’m a skilled writer, editor, and content producer with a passion for telling thoughtful and compelling stories. My expertises is in writing and producing creative, engaging content such as blog posts, lead generation article, white papers, and newsletters for online and print publications.

Creativity, accuracy, and enthusiasm are equally crucial values to me. I’ve loved writing since a very young age, which eventually led me to pursue my Bachelors in English at IUPUI, where I graduated in May 2019. With the combination of my degree and professional experiences, I offer my advanced skillset along with my passion and dedication to follow through in producing fantastic work.

I’ve written within a wide range of industries. My work has been featured on blogs for companies such as Cummins, Collective[i], Moser Consulting, and the cultural grocery delivery platform Oja Express.

My writing has been published in magazines such as Indianapolis Monthly, NUVO, and the Towne Post Network publications. I’ve written articles with topics ranging from glamping at The Fields in Michigan, Hoosier writers who aim to write a novel in one month, dental informatics, and the opening of a cottage cakery known for its decadent cakes and cookie.

I’ve also worked as a fact-checker for Indianapolis Monthly, where I research and fact-check articles such as Indy’s Most Buzzworthy Coffee, Ryan Murphy Revisits His Indiana Roots With “The Prom,” Hoosier Astronauts Share Their Stories Of Space, Burning Secrets, and more.

In my free time, you can find me baking, hiking, reading mysteries, writing personal essays and fiction, and thrifting for hidden gems.
